Position Summary: Knowledgeable about and has ability to administer prescription medications (e.g. antihistamine intravenous fluid beta agonist inhalers epinephrine) and other appropriate interventions under the order of a Radiologist with an audio/visual consult for contrast reaction emergency management. Provides post care follow up for patients that have had a contrast reaction and/or other type of incident (i.e. infiltrate vasovagal response fall etc.). Maintenance monitoring and auditing of site emergency cart to include collaboration with managers and Quality to ensure supplies are checked available and appropriately labeled. DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: Education bachelors degree RN certified. Preferred Years of experience CPR ACLS/BLS. 5 yrs. experience preferably in Interventional Radiology emergency/critical medicine and/or code team experience preferred.
