Your splicing work is essential for keeping strong and reliable connections, ensuring data travels seamlessly through our continually growing network.Connecting you to great benefitsWeekly PaychecksPaid Time Off, Parental Leave, and HolidaysInsurance (including medical, prescription drug, dental, vision, disability, life insurance)401(k) w/ Company MatchStock Purchase PlanEducation ReimbursementLegal InsuranceDiscounts on gym memberships, pet insurance, and much more!What you'll doWith guidance, perform cable upgrades and splicing tasks, both aerial and undergroundTest, activate, and troubleshoot the network's circuit post-installationEnsure all splicing operations meet strict customer and industry standardsSafely navigate working at different heights, from underground to in the airComplete basic daily maintenance of vehicles, including fluid checksDocument work performed through daily production reports, including marking up maps and keeping correct material usage recordsOther duties as assignedWhat you'll needTo be 18 years of age or olderAuthorization to work in the United States for this companyHigh School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experienceValid State driver's license (cannot be considered Provisional), including an acceptable driving recordMust be able to pass a DOT physical exam, resulting in a valid medical card6 months of splicing experience or one year of experience in the telecommunications industryCertified pole climber or capable of demonstrating proficiency as a pole climber, is preferredKnowledge of telecommunications network structurePhysical abilities & exposuresRoutinely: work at heights, occasional entry into attics and crawl spaces and alone in remote locations, operate vehicle and heavy machinery; squeeze, fine hand motion, bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs, and lift up to 55 pounds without assistance.Occasionally: work in confined spaces, use ladder and gaffs for climbing poles, keyboard and mouseWhy grow your career with usYour career here is more than just a job — it's your pathway to opportunity.
