• License/Certs: Current RN license, BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, CDN or CNN preferred
• Experience: 1+ year of inpatient dialysis experience; dialysis access, catheter access, and critical thinking skills required

Pay & Benefits

• Hourly Pay Rate: $50.25/hr

What You'll Do

• Provide dialysis care to patients on Hemodialysis or Peritoneal Dialysis
• Access fistulas, grafts, and dialysis catheters with precision and safety
• Monitor patient vital signs, water machines, and treatment progress
• Support patient assessments and report findings to the charge nurse
• Travel between multiple facilities, including WKMC (main), Bossier, Pierremont, and South locations
• Follow protocols for emergency response and critical thinking during treatments
• Document care and treatment accurately in Meditech Expanse EMR system
• Collaborate with team members and float between units and facilities as needed

What You Need

Required:

• Valid RN license in Louisiana
• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications
• At least 1 year of inpatient dialysis experience (2+ years for first-time travelers)
• Experience with dialysis machines (e.g., Braun) and accessing fistulas or catheters
• Ability to travel between multiple facilities on the same day
• Critical thinking and autonomous work skills

Preferred:

• CDN or CNN certification
• Experience working with water systems and emergency protocols
