An HR generalist manages daily human resources tasks. They handle hiring onboarding employee relations benefits and legal compliance.
Responsibilities
Hiring and Onboarding: Post jobs screen resumes set up interviews and guide new staff through orientation.
Employee Relations: Help solve workplace issues answer staff questions and support positive team culture
Benefits and Pay Support: Explain and manage employee benefits track time-off and assist with payroll data.
Policy and Compliance: Make sure the company follows labor laws and update the employee handbook.
Records and Data: Keep secure accurate worker files using HR software (HRIS)
Requirements/Key Experiences
Education: Associates degree in human resources business or a related field.
Experience: 2 to 4 years of hands-on HR work.
Knowledge: Strong grasp of basic labor laws and HR best practices.
Soft Skills: Clear communication active listening and fair problem-solving.
Tech Skills: Comfort with Microsoft Office and online HR tools or databases
