Job Title: Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN)
Location: Charleston, SC
Setting: Level I Trauma Center, Teaching Facility, Magnet Hospital
Pay Range: $45.69 - $47.97 per hour
Schedule: 36 hours per week 06:30 - 19:00 (3x12-hour shifts, Monday-Friday, Day shift, on-call 5-8 calls per month including one weekend; holiday call may be required)

Candidate Type: Local candidates only – travel stipend not available

Requirements:

• 2 years of experience as an RN
• Qualified applicants MUST have ability to scrub & circulate general OR cases
• Must be able to circulate & scrub Gen OR cases such as: plastics, colorectal, urology, MIS, pancreatic/biliary, surgical oncology
• Qualified applicants MUST have an active SC or multi-state RN license in hand at the start of the contract
• Certs REQ: BLS (AHA), Radiation badge (to be provided by agency)
• First-timers accepted: No

As a healthcare professional in a hospital setting responsible for surgical patients...

• Assist in general OR cases as a circulating RN with experience in plastics, colorectal, urology, MIS, pancreatic/biliary, and surgical oncology procedures.
• Maintain sterile technique and ensure patient safety during surgeries, utilizing key skills like circulating and scrubbing.
• Manage operative documentation and assist with equipment and robot handling as needed, adhering to hospital protocols.
