Qualifications What’s Required Active Registered Nurse license in the State of Michigan. 2 years of recent and consecutive experience in a specialty area. Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) Certification. For Critical Care Department positions: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke (NIH) Certification. For Emergency Department positions: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke (NIH) Certification, Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC). For NICU and Maternity Department positions: Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification. For Long Term Care, Home Health and Behavioral Health Department positions: Fingerprinting Clearance.
