Surgical Technologist, Operating RoomARMStaffing is looking for a Surgical Technologist, Operating Room (Day Shift) in Garland, Texas.Garland, TXThis is a 13-week contract position.Day shift from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with on-call responsibilities one day each week and one weekend that includes Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.Job DescriptionThe Surgical Technologist will work in the Surgery unit at Medical City Sachse, which features a small, dedicated team and a variety of surgical procedures. This position involves assisting with surgical operations, including robotic procedures, orthopedic surgeries, spine surgeries, podiatry cases, and endoscopic procedures, amongst others. Familiarity with EMR systems like Meditech Expanse is essential.ResponsibilitiesPrepare and maintain the operating room, instruments, and sterile supplies.Assist surgeons and surgical teams during procedures.Ensure patient safety and adherence to aseptic techniques throughout the surgical process.Handle instrumentation and assist with patient positioning.Perform other duties as assigned related to the surgical process.Required ExperienceCandidates must have a strong background in surgical technology with experience in robotics, orthopedics, spine, podiatry, and endoscopy procedures.Certifications/LicensureNBSTSA CST Certification is required.About ARMStaffingFounded in 2011 and a member of the ARGroup, LLC, ARMStaffing connects dedicated nurses and allied health professionals with the facilities that need them most.
