• Hourly Rate: From $38.52/hr (based on experience)
• Sign-On Bonus: Available on a case-by-case basis

A large, fully accredited acute care hospital in South Florida is seeking an experienced Nurse Manager RN – Behavioral Health. The facility is a Level II Trauma Center and a designated stroke center, offering a wide range of inpatient and specialty services. The organization is committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care and maintaining strong clinical standards.

The Nurse Manager RN – Behavioral Health is responsible for overseeing daily operations of a 53-bed inpatient Behavioral Health unit, with 24/7 accountability. This leadership role focuses on clinical quality, staff development, operational efficiency, financial performance, and patient satisfaction.

• Oversee daily unit operations with full accountability
• Plan and manage staff schedules and assignments
• Participate in hiring, performance evaluations, coaching, and disciplinary actions
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies
• Collaborate with hospital leadership, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams
• Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team including RNs, Behavioral Health Technicians, and Charge Nurses
• Maintain safe staffing levels and ensure quality patient care
• Provide leadership for adult and geriatric inpatient populations

• Active Florida RN license or Compact RN license
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• BLS certification (or within 30 days of hire)
• ACLS certification (or within 30 days of hire)
• CPI (Nonviolent Crisis Intervention) certification (or within 90 days of hire)
• Minimum 3 years of Behavioral Health nursing experience in an acute care setting

• 3–5 years of inpatient psychiatric clinical experience
• 1–3 years of leadership experience (e.g., Charge RN, Assistant Nurse Manager, Supervisor, or Coordinator)
