Manager Accounting Consultant

Mobility Spin-Off Accounting Specialist
Key Responsibilities: Support accounting and reporting activities associated with the Mobility spin-off and separation efforts. Assist with balance sheet, income statement, and statement of cash flow preparation and analysis. Support legal entity restructuring initiatives and execution of NewCo-related accounting requirements. Perform treasury accounting activities, including foreign currency and derivative accounting support. Assist with pension accounting processes and carve-out financial statement requirements. Support transaction-related accounting and provide backfill assistance to accounting teams experiencing elevated workloads. Perform ledger reconciliations, data validation, and accounting support related to system conversion initiatives. Collaborate with cross-functional accounting and finance teams to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting. Serve as a flexible resource capable of supporting multiple accounting workstreams as priorities evolve
Shift Timings: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
Work Schedule: Hybrid: 34 days onsite Onsite: Monday Wednesday, sometimes Thursday
MUST-HAVE Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or related field. 8+ years of accounting experience Global manufacturing environment experience Proficiency with Oracle, SAP and FCCS/consolidation tools CPA experience is highly preferred Experience with Financial and Corporate Accounting Strong Pension & Benefits Accounting experience Transaction Accounting experience Data reconciliation experience Experience with financial statement preparation and bookkeeping Balance Sheet, Income Statement & Cash Flow Treasury accounting experience FX & derivatives Strong ledger/GL reconciliation, data validation & bookkeeping experience Experience with system conversion / migration support Ability to support multiple accounting workstreams in a high-volume environment
