Market Research Analyst Location: Dallas, TX, 75240 Duration: 4 months Schedule: Standard Shift The Market Research Analyst is responsible for evaluating market conditions and competitive dynamics to assess and improve the sales performance of the company's portfolio. This role is highly business focused and centers on transforming market data into practical, actionable insights that drive commercial decisions. The ideal candidate is curious, consultative, and comfortable influencing stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, and Revenue Growth Management with fact-based recommendations. This role supports growth by identifying opportunities, uncovering risks, and helping the business respond effectively to competitive pressures. Responsibilities Analyze syndicated and internal data sources to assess market conditions, competitive activity, and portfolio performance Monitor trends, strategies, and category dynamics to identify risks and growth opportunities for the company Translate market insights into actionable recommendations that support market share and value share growth Partner closely with RGM, Sales, and Marketing teams to support planning, execution, and performance tracking Develop clear and compelling presentations that communicate insights through visuals and concise narratives Conduct specialized and ad hoc analyses to support executive leadership and front line teams Evaluate market share performance at the most detailed level to identify actionable drivers and gapsCoordinate cross-functionally to support integrated business solutions and stronger commercial outcomes Present findings in a clear and practical manner tailored to different audiences across the organization Perform market and competitive analysis to understand business performance and improve company's market share Gather and synthesize data from internal systems to uncover insights and inform timely business decisions Interpret and explain market share shifts, competitive movements, and category trends Identify specific opportunities to strengthen brand performance versus competition Recommend actions and support execution plans that align with commercial objectives Communicate insights confidently using visuals and storytelling to enable decision making Support Sales and Marketing initiatives by providing factual, relevant, and timely market intelligence Performs analysis to understand the behavior of the business and competitors, seeking to improve the company's market share Gathering data from internal databases to identify opportunities to determine adequate timely solutions that can be used as leverage to enhance company's market and value share indicators Analyze and interpret market share information at the lowest level to communicate findings and recommendations to the different business stakeholders Identify specific business opportunities and coordinate with different teams to produce better business outcomes in terms of our products' performance in the market vs competition Make recommendations and communicate the findings and plans to different levels of audiences in the organization with clear and concise actions to be taken in the market Present findings to internal customers in an easy-to-understand way, making sure that they are accompanied by visual support when needed Partner with the Marketing and Sales teams to develop plans and programs to drive Market Share growth, providing with the necessary facts and information to create actionable and impactful plans Qualifications Education Bachelor's degree in relevant field: Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics. Graduate Degree preferred. Experience 1+ year of work experience required, preferably in market research, business intelligence, deep-dive analysis, and project management experience Strong business and operational knowledge, desirably from working directly with the operations Strong consultative communication skills, preferably diagnosing data to develop successful growth strategies with clients Must be able to generate innovative ideas and solutions to address problems Strong and proven analytical and critical thinking Strong oral and written communication Proactive thinker and problem solver Knowledge of visual tools such as: Tableau, Power BI, etc Familiarity with Advanced Analytics tools of data warehousing and mining such as: Scala, R, Python, SQL, Matlab, SAS, SPSS, Minitab, Hive, Hadoop, Pig, Tableau, Spotfire, etc Proven comfort and an intellectual curiosity for working with large sets of data, pulling in relevant team members to address identified and sometimes undiscovered needs #J-18808-Ljbffr Pacer Group
