Role Description The Research Coordinator is a full-time, on-site position based in Los Angeles, CA, responsible for supporting the planning, execution, and monitoring of research projects. In this role, the coordinator assists with study design logistics, participant recruitment and scheduling, and informed consent processes, ensuring adherence to protocols and regulatory requirements. The position involves organizing and maintaining study documentation, managing data collection activities, and coordinating communications among investigators, study staff, and institutional partners. The coordinator will prepare materials for Institutional Review Board (IRB) submissions, track approvals, and help ensure compliance with ethical standards. Day-to-day responsibilities also include creating progress reports, supporting grant-related activities, and contributing to continuous improvement of research workflows. Qualifications Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and support data-driven decision-making. Demonstrated research and data collection skills, including experience with study protocols, surveys, or clinical/field data gathering. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and interact with participants. Knowledge of Institutional Review Board (IRB) processes and human subjects protection, or willingness to learn and follow IRB requirements. Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy in documentation. Proficiency with common office and data tools (e.g., spreadsheets, databases, project management software); familiarity with statistical software is a plus. Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as public health, psychology, social sciences, life sciences, or related discipline; advanced training or certification in research coordination is beneficial. Experience in an academic, clinical, or research setting and understanding of research ethics and compliance are highly preferred. #J-18808-Ljbffr
