Pay: $25-30/hour based on experience ($2500 sign on bonus paid out on your 1st check)

We are hiring skilled, self-motivated, and quality-driven Welders to support a growing production team at a manufacturing facility in Topeka, KS. This is a great opportunity to work with a growing company. As a Welder, you'll fabricate parts and assemblies for custom projects built to exact customer specifications, working in a clean, well-equipped environment alongside talented professionals who value safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and follow welding procedures and welding symbols on drawings.
• Use calibrated measuring tools to properly fit up assemblies.
• Utilize hand, pneumatic, electric, and battery-powered tools.
• Operate plasma cutters, oxy-acetylene torches, and carbon air arc equipment.
• Weld in various positions using GMAW, FCAW, and GTAW processes.
• Work with steel, aluminum, and stainless steel.
• Maintain equipment and a clean work area.
• Follow all safety guidelines and procedures.
• Assist in other production areas as needed.

Essential Skills

• Experience with GMAW, FCAW, and GTAW welding processes.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Working knowledge of industry tools and equipment.
• Ability to read tape measures and perform basic math.
• Ability to pass visual and bend tests in various processes and positions.
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs.

Work Environment

The company is based in Topeka, KS, and is a leading manufacturer specializing in the engineering, fabrication, and assembly of high-quality metal enclosures, cases, and components. Openings on 2nd shift 3PM-1AM and, a 3rd shift from 8 PM to 6 AM, Monday through Thursday with opportunities for overtime on Fridays.

This is a Permanent position based out of Topeka, KS.

The pay range for this position is $45760.00 - $56160.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
