The master scheduler will review all new orders request, backlog demand and forecast bookings to assist management in achieving minimal cycle time and meet committed dates to customers.  Provides a detail analysis of materials, supply chain and production capacities of production. Then expedites any areas of concern to ensure we achieve desired cycle times on all orders. Customer focused professional who has a track record of handling multiple projects and priorities while ensuring on-time delivery.

Responsibilities:

*     Responsible for the weekly generation for MRP.

*     Responsible for the formation and maintenance of MPS (Master Production Schedule) for all facilities.

*     Hands on utilization of MRP (Material Requirements Planning)

*     Track and resolve all past due production orders on a daily/weekly basis

*     Coordinate with Procurement/Buyers & Manufacturing Mgr on release kits to production.

*     Adjust schedule in support of business requirements

*     Verify the execution of ECO material disposition and process/coordinate material purges

*     Support established process controls, continuously work on improvements and develop new process controls as needed

*     Work closely with engineering to develop prototype build schedules and work order maintenance.

*     Weekly metric reporting on performance of planning and production schedules

*     Monthly close assignments

*     Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Technical Skills:

*     3- 5 years experience as a Master Planner in a High Mix Manufacturing environment.

*     Must have implemented shop floor control in Expandable preferably in a capital equipment company.

*     Advanced written and verbal communication skills.

*     Excellent computer, time management and interpersonal skills.

*     Ability to work independently, part of a team and with a diverse group.

*     Must be able to work in an extremely fast pace environment.

*     Ability to handle multiple and frequently changing priorities.

*     Must be comfortable and self confident in managing complex production and customer requirements.

Education:

Bachelors Degree in Business or Technical Field preferred or equivalent combination of training and experience.
