Work Schedule- Monday to Friday: 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM, with shifts lasting up to 12 hours
- Weekday on-call: 1 - 3 hours; Weekend on-call: 4 hours from 7 AM - 7 PM
- Daily case load: 2 - 5 cases
This role is set in an inpatient hospital context, with a patient demographic breakdown of:
- 85% adult patients
- 10% pediatric patients
- 5% trauma cases
Procedures required include:
- General anesthesia
- OB anesthesia
- Neuro anesthesia
- Thoracic anesthesia
- Vascular anesthesia
- Orthopedic anesthesia
- Regional anesthesia
- Spinal, epidural blocks, and thoracic procedures
Ongoing coverage is available, with a minimum commitment of one week per month.
Compensation and BenefitsWe negotiate competitive pay rates, which are deposited weekly. The compensation ranges from $300.00 to $400.00 per hour. Please note that these figures are estimates and can vary based on factors such as the urgency of the position, your experience, and qualifications. The rates are all-inclusive, covering base pay along with potential earnings from overtime, on-call duties, and holiday work.
