• Registered dental assistant / Certified dental assistant

Licensure: Valid Dental Assistant license as required by the state of Texas.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Open Dental software is preferred; strong knowledge of dental terminology and radiographic equipment.
Soft Skills: Outstanding positive attitude, excellent verbal/written communication, and the ability to build strong relationships with patients.
Adaptability: Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Compliance: Thorough understanding of HIPAA regulations and office safety protocols.

Job Description

Clinical Support: Assist the doctor with all dental procedures and take high-quality radiographs using standard equipment.
Patient Flow Management: Maintain an efficient schedule to ensure zero patient wait time; remain engaged and ready for all assigned shifts.
Patient Care: Provide outstanding chairside manner, verify health histories (medications/dental impact), and ensure patient comfort.
Documentation: Review charts prior to doctor arrival, transcribe treatment notes accurately, and maintain strict HIPAA compliance.
Sanitation: Ensure treatment rooms and the general office environment are clean and meet safety standards.
Team Collaboration: Assist with additional office duties and follow all organizational safety policies.
