Cardiologist - Montana

Position Summary Seattle Children’s is seeking a Pediatric Cardiologist to join our Montana‑based practice. The practice is based in Great Falls with outreach mandays to Helena and Havre. The role provides high‑quality care to Montanans while offering the independence of a community cardiologist supported by Seattle Children’s Hospital. Responsibilities Provide physician specialty services according to the employment contract. Coordinate care with patients and attending physicians and collaborate with nursing, pediatric and other medical and surgical subspecialty services, community physicians and ancillary health team providers. Ensure the quality of all patient care and its integration with Seattle Children’s goals, vision and philosophy. Required Education and Experience MD Degree. Medical Staff membership and appropriate clinical privileges at Seattle Children’s and other applicable sites. Required Credentials Licensed as a Physician in the State of Montana. Board eligibility or certification in Pediatrics by the American Academy of Pediatrics and/or applicable specialty. Federal DEA Registration. Must obtain, before employment, and maintain in good standing medical or allied health professional staff privileges not limited, revoked, suspended, conditioned, or probationary (except for mandatory probationary periods). All medical and allied health professional staff members are provisional for the first year. Medical and allied health professional staff privileges at Children’s automatically terminate upon the termination of employment at Children’s. Termination of employment does not prohibit the individual from seeking non‑employee staff privileges at Children’s for qualifying categories. Preferred None. Compensation $346,035–$382,299 per year. Compensation is based on full‑time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year) and may vary within the range provided depending on equity, skills, experience, and expertise.
