Nurse Practitioner OpportunityPrairie Band Health Services is in need of a Nurse Practitioner to provide services at Ute Health Center (UMUHC) in Towaoc, Colorado. With great compensation and the chance to make a meaningful impact, this opportunity is perfect for experienced NP.Preference will be given to individuals to the extent required pursuant to Section 22-2-4(B) of Title 22: Employment Code of the Prairie Band Potawatomi Nation.Details:Local or travel locum tenens welcome to applyExperience treating both adult and pediatric patients requiredNurse Practitioner Services to be provided shall include, but are not limited to:Provide a full range of medical services including evaluation, diagnosis, consultation & referral, specialty referrals for outpatients of all ages.Serve on the Patient Centered Medical Home team.Makes referral recommendations to the Clinical Director as required ensuring appropriate specialty care, follow-up, continuity of care and ensuring appropriate forms are completed.Participates in treatment planning with the medical department and for individual patients.Additional duties and responsibilities may be added to this job description at any time. Employees are required to follow any other job-related instructions and to perform any other job-related responsibilities as requested by their supervisor.Requirements:Active, Unrestricted Medical License: Must hold a current and unrestricted license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in any U.S. state, the District of Columbia, or the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico.Certifications: Must have current certifications in:Basic life Support (BLS)Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS)Minimum Experience: 3 years of experience in diagnosis and treatment of a broad range of adult and pediatric conditionsCitizenship: Must be a U.S. citizen living primarily within the United States.Federal Security Clearance: Must be willing and able to complete and pass the federal security clearance process.Ready to make a difference?
