Our client, a mid-sized oil & gas exploration & production company in the Galleria area of Houston, has 2 Accountant II openings. This position will provide support with corporate accounting and management reporting processes, and complex accounting matters. Will perform monthly, quarterly, and annual financial and or management reporting processes including accounting accruals, account reconciliations, revenue and expenditure reviews and analysis, review of system processes and outputs, financial and or management reporting, complex accounting procedures, journal entry preparation and review, mentor and review the work of junior accounting, and other internal reporting duties. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting required, Master's degree preferred 2-3 years of experience working in a Big 4 or mid-to-large sized public accounting firm in an audit or assurance role Experience working with oil & gas/E&P clients helpful Hybrid work schedule - 3 days in office, 2 days work from home #J-18808-Ljbffr Ledgent-Finance-Vacancy posted 2 days ago
