Bonji Foods manufactures premium frozen sorbet and açaí in our own New Jersey production facility. Our
products are served in restaurants, juice bars, açaí shops and cafés up and down the East Coast, and we
sell both direct and through national and regional foodservice distributors. We are family-owned, growing

Job Summary
We are looking for a Foodservice Sales Representative to grow our account base. This is a mix of new
business and relationship management: you will chase down leads, open new accounts, and then keep
those customers happy and reordering. Our product sells itself once people taste it — your job is to get it in
front of them.
You will work closely with the ownership team and have real ownership of your pipeline, from first contact
through ongoing account management.

Responsibilities 
• Respond quickly to inbound leads from our social media and digital advertising campaigns
• Prospect new business through cold calling, email outreach and in-person visits
• Represent Bonji at regional and national trade shows
• Coordinate and deliver product samples to prospects and customers, and follow up to close
• Manage relationships with new accounts after onboarding — check in regularly, resolve issues and
grow order volume
• Work with our distributor partners to support and expand accounts in their territories
• Keep accurate records of leads, conversations and pipeline activity
• Travel regularly by car and occasionally by plane to visit customers and attend shows

Qualifications
• 2–3 years of sales experience, ideally in food, beverage, foodservice or another B2B product category
• Comfortable picking up the phone and making cold calls — a lot of them
• Strong follow-up discipline; leads do not go cold on your watch
• Personable and credible in front of restaurant owners, chefs and buyers
• Organized enough to manage a pipeline and an existing book of business at the same time
• Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and willingness to travel by car and air
• Able to lift and transport sample coolers and product cases

Nice to Have
• Existing relationships in restaurant, juice bar, café or foodservice distribution channels
• Experience with a CRM
• Familiarity with frozen or refrigerated foodservice products
