We are looking for a dependable Dispatcher to join an on-site team in Virginia in a Contract to permanent role. This position supports overnight operations and requires strong communication, sound judgment, and the ability to coordinate requests efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is comfortable handling incoming calls, organizing response activity, and providing consistent service while managing multiple priorities during an 8-hour overnight shift. PLEASE NOTE: this is a Tues-Sat, 5pm-1am shift with a 30 min lunch and two paid 15 minute breaks. You must be available for this schedule to be considered for the role.

Responsibilities:

• Manage overnight dispatch activities by receiving requests, assessing urgency, and directing the appropriate response in a timely manner.

• Communicate clearly with customers, internal teams, and field personnel to confirm details, provide updates, and resolve routine service questions.

• Use computer-based dispatch tools to enter, monitor, and maintain accurate call and logistics information throughout each shift.

• Coordinate schedules, service needs, and resource assignments to keep operations running smoothly and efficiently.

• Track ongoing activity in real time and adjust priorities when conditions change or urgent issues arise.

• Maintain organized records of calls, actions taken, and service outcomes to support operational accuracy and continuity.

• Deliver attentive customer service during high-volume periods while balancing multiple calls and tasks effectively.

• Prior experience in dispatching, call center support, customer service, or a related coordination role.
• Ability to work an 8-hour overnight shift in an on-site Monday through Friday environment.
• Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to gather information quickly and relay instructions accurately.
• Experience using computer-aided dispatch systems or similar scheduling and tracking software.
• Solid multitasking and organizational skills in a fast-paced setting with changing priorities.
• Attention to detail and accuracy when documenting calls, schedules, and service updates.
• Ability to coordinate logistics efficiently while maintaining a detail-oriented and customer-focused approach.
