Registered Nurse - ICU

Job Description

Job Summary:
Seeking experienced ICU Registered Nurses to provide critical care in a fast-paced environment. This position requires dedicated CVICU experience, with opportunities for both 36 and 48-hour shifts.

Responsibilities:

• Administer advanced patient care for ICU and CVICU patients, including managing vents, drips, sheaths, and dialysis.
• Interpret EKGs, dysrhythmias, and lab strips accurately.
• Respond promptly to patient emergencies and adjust care plans accordingly.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient support.
• Fulfill floating duties within designated hospital units as assigned.
• Complete required orientation modules and documentation timely.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active RN license or compact license; past disciplinary actions disqualify candidates.
• Possess minimum 1 year of dedicated CVICU experience, including work with A-lines, vents, sheaths, and ABGs.
• Demonstrate proficiency in Epic charting software.
• Pass an online EKG tele competency assessment before start.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required; ability to interpret strips essential.
• Prior travel experience preferred.
