About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Profession: Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty: Med Surg/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of current Med Surg/Telemetry experience, Charge experience required, Progressive Care Unit/PCU experience strongly required, Minimum 3 months previous travel experience required License: Vermont RN License or Compact Certifications: Active American Heart Association BLS, Active American Heart Association ACLS Must-Have: Charge experience, drip experience with insulin drips, esmolol drips, and sodium drips, willingness to float to any inpatient unit within scope of practice Description: This is an adaptive acuity unit. On occasion, travelers will be asked to provide PCU care (3:1 ratio). This care is non-negotiable and may not be refused. Must have experience with insulin drips, esmolol drips, and sodium drips. Charge experience is required for this need. A 48-hour guarantee is not available for this need. Nurse to patient ratio is 1:5. There are a total of 25 beds. Requested time off during the course of this assignment must be noted and verified at the time of submission. Requests for time off after submission will not be approved. No more than 5 days of requested time off will be accepted (less is better). All travelers uploaded must note when they can be reached and have voicemail set up on their phones. Travelers without voicemail set up will be redirected if a facility reaches out. Holiday multiplier is 1.25%. Any and all overtime will be worked at the regular rate. Call and call-back are not applicable for this need. All scheduling requests must be made at the time of submission. The facility will not approve scheduling requests after the time of offer or during the interview. Please obtain the necessary information prior to submission. Failure to provide requested information may lead to rescinded offers.
