This entry level position is a paid training opportunity for individuals who want to build a career and transition into our State registered pre-apprenticeship program.

As a Commercial HVAC Laborer, you will learn the foundational elements of: Planning, layout, fabrication, and installation of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning ductwork Using technical and mathematical skills in a fast-paced construction environment Supporting sheet metal journeymen and apprentices with daily installation and fabrication tasks Reading and interpreting blueprints with guidance Safe use of tools, equipment, and materials Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe jobsite

Qualifications: Demonstrated commitment to jobsite safety, safe work practices, and a willingness to learn Strong work ethic and positive attitude Comfort working at heights, in confined spaces, and in varying weather conditions Math skills are a must Valid driver's license and reliable transportation GED or High School Diploma Compliance with Central's Drug & Alcohol Policy

Physical Requirements: Ability to walk, climb, lift, and carry materials and tools weighing up to 50 pounds, and perform physical labor Frequent standing, bending, reaching, pushing, and pulling Frequent overhead work Ability to work on ladders, lifts, and scaffolding for extended periods Visual and auditory acuity required for active construction environments
