Traveling Ultrasound Tech / Sonographer

Join the team as an Ultrasound Technologist (Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) where you will operate specialized ultrasound equipment to produce high-quality images used by physicians to diagnose and treat medical conditions. This position is based in Detroit, MI at a hospital and supports patient care across imaging services. Candidates must be able to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams and follow facility protocols for imaging, documentation, and patient safety.


Minimum Qualifications

• National certification in specialty from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or from Cardiovascular Credentialing International.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer. This includes experience performing general abdominal, obstetric/gynecologic, and vascular ultrasound examinations.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience working in an acute care hospital environment preferred.
• Proficiency with common ultrasound equipment and PACS/image archiving systems preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Additional ARDMS specialty credentials preferred.
• Experience with bedside/portable ultrasound exams and trauma protocols preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 1500-2300.
• Schedule pattern: 5x8.
• Expected hours: 40 per week.
• Start: ASAP.
