Preference is given to qualified Native American candidates in accordance with applicable laws.RequirementsDoctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical schoolCompletion of an accredited residency programMinimum of 2–3 years of inpatient hospitalist experience preferredMust be a U.S. citizen living primarily in the United StatesMust be able to pass a federal security clearanceQualificationsActive, unrestricted MD or DO license (any U.S. state accepted)Board Certified or Board Eligible in appropriate specialtyCurrent BLS and ACLS certificationStrong clinical, communication, and organizational skillsPrevious IHS experience preferredExperience with EHR systems requiredRequired immunizations must be up to date
