We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMFT, LMHC, or LCSW) to join our team at Best Care Psychological and Counseling Center. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments including in-depth psychosocial evaluations, diagnostic interviews, and clinical risk assessments.
- Collaborate with clients to design tailored treatment plans that reflect their specific goals and cultural considerations, ensuring a personalized approach.
- Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as CBT, DBT, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) in various settings, including individual, couple, family, and group therapy.
- Provide crisis intervention services when necessary, coordinating with other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
- Maintain meticulous clinical documentation, including progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries, adhering to established clinic policies and regulatory guidelines.
- Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions, empowering them with skills and knowledge to better manage their wellbeing.
- Assess treatment effectiveness regularly through outcome measures and make necessary adjustments to care plans.
- Stay updated on current research, best practices, and emerging trends in mental health, integrating this knowledge into your therapeutic practice.
- Uphold ethical standards and confidentiality of all client information consistently.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications
- Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
- Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, or LCSW in the state of Florida.
- Strong ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, capable of building rapport with clients from various cultural backgrounds.
Preferred Experience
- A minimum of 2 years of direct clinical experience in mental health counseling is required.
- Experience in utilizing telehealth platforms for delivering mental health services is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with trauma-informed care practices is an asset.
Compensation and Benefits
The annual salary for this position ranges from $70,000 to $84,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to competitive compensation, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
