Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Rehabilitation Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 06:30 - 19:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: RN licensed in the State of Missouri Certifications: BLS (CPR) Certification Must-Have: Flexibility, collaborative attitude, positive demeanor Description: Client Rehabilitation Hospital provides inpatient rehabilitation services for patients recovering from strokes, brain or spinal cord injuries, amputations, multiple trauma, cancer, and complex orthopedic injuries. The hospital features specialized units and equipment designed to promote recuperation outside the traditional hospital setting. Patients have access to monitored rooms, specialized beds, patient lifts, and dedicated therapy spaces. Rehabilitation professionals focus on improving individual functional ability and quality of life through comprehensive treatment approaches. Each patient is evaluated to address physical, emotional, and psychological components, emphasizing movement patterns, strength, flexibility, and functional ability. There are dedicated units for various conditions, including stroke care, brain injuries, and spinal cord injuries. Healthcare providers work closely with physicians, specialists, and families to achieve patient goals. The work environment promotes a collaborative and supportive atmosphere for staff and patients alike. The patient-to-nurse ratio is approximately 1:6/7 during the day and 1:8 at night, ensuring individualized attention. Each nurse has a dedicated technician to assist with care. Candidates must possess a flexible and collaborative spirit to thrive in this environment. Experience with rehabilitation and a certification in rehabilitation nursing is preferred.
