As part of a growing rural healthcare system in a 25 bed acute care hospital, the Physical Therapist supports inpatient, outpatient, and home based rehabilitation services across the continuum. Caseloads include orthopedics, neurological conditions, pediatrics, geriatrics, and post-acute rehab with an emphasis on function and independence. The Physical Therapist reports to the Manager of Rehabilitation Services and thrives within a supportive leadership structure that values autonomy and teamwork. Daily collaboration with friendly nurses, hospitalists, surgeons, primary care, and a diverse team of OTs and SLPs ensures seamless, patient-centered care. Core responsibilities include comprehensive evaluations, individualized plans of care, manual therapy and therapeutic exercise, neuromuscular re-education, and clear EMR documentation. Robust support spans mentorship, specialty certifications, CEU assistance, and modern equipment, enabling the Rehabilitation Therapist to progress complex cases with confidence.
