If you would love to be part of a growing team, please send your resume. Role Overview We are looking for two full-time Ortho/Dental Assistant to join our dental practice. The right applicant will have experience preparing patients, ensuring that they are comfortable and offering another set of hands for procedures. Assistants must help Dentist to clearly see problems and changes within a patient's mouth. This often requires taking x-rays, and behavioral guidance. Plus, having fun with our patients. Responsibilities Help Dentist prepare for procedures by having the necessary tools sterilized and in place Help our children have an extraordinary experience Help keep a patient’s mouth clean and dry during procedures and assist dentist with the necessary tools at the appropriate time Patient education; explain procedures and discuss treatment progress and plans to parents This position will include all aspects of clinical dental care and have fun doing so Requirements Previous dental chair side assisting is preferred Positive attitude and enthusiasm for the workday High energy required and needed to work with us Excellent customer service skills with an outgoing, bubbly attitude, people friendly personality The ideal applicant will display and demonstrate excellent communication skills with staff and patients Desire to learn new skills and expand your potential Coronal polishing/sealant, and/or nitrous, certified is plus CPR certified is a plus Monday-Friday and 1-2 Saturdays a month Company Overview We are a multi-specialty group.
