Director OF Ecommerce

This person is a highly valued individual contributor. Charleston, South Carolina | Full-time employment, in house. Compensation: $80,000- $110,000+ (depending on experience) Health Insurance and IRA Benefits Position Overview: This is a senior, hands-on role driving profitable growth across dubose’s digital business and building meaningful community and experience throughout the consumer journey. They will work closely with the founder and team across paid acquisition, Shopify and conversion optimization, subscription retention, lifecycle marketing, product launches, seasonal promotions, analytics, and additional emerging growth tools. This person is well established and highly competent in these areas, with the majority of their experience building from scratch vs. operating or executing a strategy that was already in place. Importantly, this candidate feels magnetically drawn to dubose, specifically aligned with the brand’s purpose and the effect dubose has on each consumer it touches. They feel a connection to the purpose and are able to integrate that feeling into multiple areas of the business. dubose is growing quickly, and this role exists to move that growth forward — not to oversee it. This is a highly valued individual contributor who craves expanding their knowledge, the ability to contribute to the big picture, and the opportunity to directly impact the growth of dubose. Qualifications + Experience: Experience with at least 3 out of 4 of these is an imperative requirement. 5+ years of relevant experience in DTC e-commerce, growth, and brand operations – ideally at a small or fast-growing company where they did the work themselves. Actively hands on day-to-day experience operating and managing the following systems and channels: Shopify, Klaviyo, Affiliate Marketing, Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, and other paid acquisition channels that award them the proficiency to challenge third-party agencies or external teams to perform. Direct experience contributing to the growth of an e-commerce business through omnichannel marketing. Experience in beauty, skincare, or another premium consumer category. Strongly Preferred: Their current/previous job has been hands-on with ecommerce conversion optimization, subscription marketing, direct-to-consumer customer acquisition, marketing analytics, product launches, and promotional strategy. Subscription or membership marketing experience This candidate is: Someone who is empowered by instilling confidence in their community through the products of dubose. They are enthusiastic about keeping up with the changes in the dynamic DTC e-commerce marketplace with technology. This is someone who is a 10 on all 3 Is (Intelligence, Integrity, & Initiative).
