Job Title: Manager, Analytics, Data Engineering & Governance Location: Sussex, Wisconsin, United States Type: Full Time Our client is looking for a Manager, Analytics, Data Engineering & Governance to oversee the management, governance, and operational support of audience and marketing data systems used within direct marketing and analytics functions. This position blends technical platform administration—primarily within Snowflake—with data governance oversight and third-party data enablement. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams including analytics, engineering, legal, compliance, and business stakeholders to ensure data is used securely, responsibly, and in alignment with regulatory and client requirements. Key Responsibilities Snowflake Administration & Data Enablement Manage and maintain Snowflake environments supporting analytics and marketing data operations Configure and manage user roles, permissions, and access controls Organize data structures and ensure efficient data availability Support ingestion and management of third-party and licensed datasets Partner with analytics and engineering teams to enable smooth data consumption Troubleshoot platform, access, and data-related issues Data Governance & Compliance Contribute to governance processes related to audience and client data usage Ensure adherence to data licensing terms, internal policies, and privacy regulations Maintain documentation around data access, approvals, and governance processes Assist with audit preparation and compliance readiness efforts Support secure management of highly sensitive and regulated information Implement and monitor access controls and compliance measures Work closely with compliance and security teams to meet strict regulatory standards Ensure data handling practices align with enterprise and legal requirements Audit & Compliance Support Assist with SOC 2-related activities, internal reviews, and client audits Maintain audit documentation and governance evidence Participate in remediation efforts and follow-up on compliance findings Validate adherence to policies around data access, retention, and usage Data Partnerships & Integration Support onboarding of third-party data providers Document data attributes, usage rights, and applicable use cases Ensure partner data is used in compliance with contractual agreements Coordinate with internal teams to operationalize partner datasets Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with teams across analytics, engineering, legal, compliance, and business operations Align data governance practices with business objectives Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders Escalate complex issues when necessary Qualifications 5+ years of experience in data operations, governance, or marketing data environments Hands‑on experience with Snowflake or similar cloud data platforms Familiarity with regulated or sensitive data environments preferred Exposure to audience data, third-party data, or marketing analytics Skills & Knowledge Technical Expertise Experience managing Snowflake environments (roles, access control, governance) Understanding of structured data and cloud-based data platforms Working knowledge of SQL and data querying Governance & Compliance Awareness Knowledge of data privacy principles and governance practices Familiarity with PII/PHI handling requirements Exposure to compliance frameworks such as SOC 2 Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills Ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences Detail-oriented with strong process adherence #J-18808-Ljbffr SoTalent
