Job Details Specialty: Registered Respiratory Therapist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 06/15/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Hours: 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Responsibilities Administer a variety of simple and complex respiratory and cardiology modalities. Maintain patient records and documentation. Clean, disinfect, assemble, calibrate, and maintain respiratory and cardiology equipment. Evaluate equipment for proper function and report malfunctions. Perform arterial puncture and analyze samples according to procedure guidelines. Collaborate with co‑workers, nurses, physicians, and other hospital personnel to optimize continuum of care. Respond to emergent situations requiring respiratory support. Requirements Minimum 1 year of acute care experience. BLS and ACLS certification required; PALS and NRP may be required in some areas. Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification. Physical capability to stand, walk, lift up to 20 pounds regularly; lift up to 50 pounds occasionally. Vision: adequate close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception and focus adjustment.
