Role Description The Mortgage Loan Originator is a full-time, hybrid role based in Pensacola, FL, with the flexibility to perform some responsibilities from home. In this position, the individual will work directly with clients to assess their mortgage needs, collect financial documentation, and guide them through the loan application and approval process. Day-to-day tasks include originating mortgage loans, explaining loan products and terms, coordinating with underwriters and processors, and ensuring files meet regulatory and company standards. The role also involves building and maintaining relationships with real estate professionals and community partners, following up with clients, and actively managing a pipeline to support timely closings and strong customer satisfaction. Qualifications Demonstrated expertise in Loan Origination and Mortgage Lending, with a strong understanding of various loan products and guidelines. Solid knowledge of Underwriting principles and Loans processes to support accurate documentation and quality submissions. Background in Finance, including the ability to analyze income, credit, and assets to determine borrower eligibility. Strong client service skills, including clear communication, responsiveness, and the ability to explain complex financial concepts in accessible terms. Proven ability to manage multiple files and deadlines, with strong organizational and time management skills. Comfort working in a hybrid environment, collaborating both in-office and remotely with team members and clients. Relevant state mortgage loan originator license(s) or the ability to obtain required licensing in Florida and other applicable states.
