Youth Sports Coach

Soccer Stars is the leading youth sports program for children ages 12 months to 13 years in Long Island and Eastern Queens. Our acclaimed program provides an energetic, enjoyable, and age‑suitable introduction to the fantastic game of soccer by offering classes, camps, and clinics held in schools, community centers, and local parks. We take pride in our creative curriculum, which focuses not only on soccer skills but also on fostering social skills and character development, creating a positive and lasting impact on every child we coach. We also offer multisport programs as well as non‑contact martial arts programs! Benefits Flexible schedule Competitive pay starting at $20-$30/hour based on education and experience Bonus programs Paid training opportunities Schedule The majority of classes are held during the preschool, after school hours and on weekends. The ideal candidate would have availability on the days and times listed below. Candidates must have consistent availability for the classes they are hired for. Candidates with flexible or open availability are preferred: Mondays: 12:00-4:00pm Wednesdays: 4:00-7:00pm Saturdays, Sundays: 9:00am-2:00pm Responsibilities Show up on time for every class to set yourself up for success Use individual attention to ensure every child has success Use a non‑competitive approach to ensure classes are fun with a stress‑free environment Use positive reinforcement to encourage children to do better and celebrate success Have a blast; be open‑mind­ed, and know that coaching is a continuous journey. All coaches are open to feedback and strive to be better by attending regular trainings and following the Super Soccer Stars Coaching Manual Qualifications Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to local schools with your own reliable transportation (the more you are able and willing to travel, the more work you will have; locations across Long Island) Passion for sports / fitness and working with young children, in particular those ages 1‑5 Background in fitness a plus (athletics, sports, dance, cheer, gymnastics, martial arts, exercise science, kinesiology, physical education, etc.) Background working with children a plus (camp counselor, elementary education substitute teacher, coach, etc.) At least 18 years of age Must be able to pass background check Additional Benefits Flexible schedules Training & equipment provided Refer a coach & receive up to $200* (candidate must work for 6 months) Opportunities to work full‑time and even become a franchise owner #J-18808-Ljbffr Pro Soccer Kids
