Ophthalmic Testing Technician

Wolfe Eye Clinic is seeking to add a full-time Ophthalmic Testing Technician based in our Cedar Falls clinic.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent patient service.
• Document patient histories.
• Complete auxiliary testing such as visual fields, optos, non-Myd photography, CVKs, and OCTs.
• Measure eye pressure.
• Take diagnostic images using a Pentacam.
• Disinfect and maintain clinical equipment.
• Prepare, enter and maintain patient electronic health records.
• Other clinical duties as assigned.

Skills and Knowledge:

Interested applicants must be able to work both independently and in a team environment, have excellent patient service skills, remain organized, learn and adapt quickly, and maintain excellent communication skills. Some day-time travel is required. When traveling outside your base clinic mileage and time on the road will be reimbursed.

Preferred Qualifications, but not required . ( Willing to train the right candidate ):

• OCT experience
• Visual Field experience
• Electronic Medical Records experience.
