Director of Clinical Services and Case Manage

PURPOSE OF POSITION: The Director of Clinical Services and Case Management provides strategic and operational leadership for the agency's wellness services, including case management, clinical services, health services, parenting education, and nutrition programs. This role ensures the delivery of high-quality, trauma-informed, and youth-centered care across South Florida, while serving as a consultative and supportive resource to Central Florida operations. The Director is responsible for program oversight, team member development, compliance, and outcomes, ensuring all services align with organizational mission, values, and funding requirements. JOB REQUIREMENTS: EDUCATION : Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy or a relevant field required. Must hold an active State of Florida Mental Health license such as LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, etc. EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in behavioral health, youth services, or human services and a minimum of 3 years of progressive leadership experience in supervising different youth programs including two years supervisory and grant administration experience required SCHEDULE: This position requires flexibility to meet the needs of youth. This position may be required to be on call weekends and holidays. SKILLS: Demonstrated ability to lead with initiative and collaborate effectively, fostering a positive, accountable, and supportive environment across multidisciplinary teams. Skilled in supervising, coaching, and developing team members through constructive feedback and performance management. Strong conflict resolution abilities and cultural competence, with sensitivity to diverse and trauma-impacted populations. Extensive knowledge of trauma-informed care and evidence-based practices, applied to program development and service delivery. Experience managing complex, grant-funded programs while ensuring compliance with regulatory, licensing, and funding requirements. Highly effective communicator, able to convey information clearly and professionally in both written and verbal formats. Proficient in using data systems and technology to monitor program performance, maintain accurate documentation, and support continuous quality improvement. TRANSPORTATION : Must have a valid FL driver's license and good driving record. May need to transport youth and team members using agency transportation. WORKING CONDITIONS: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may work occasionally in outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud. Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs. on occasion, bend, sit and stand for prolonged periods of time. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This position performs supervisory duties and is part of the Administrator on Call and Residential Administrator On Duty programs.
EQ UIPMENT USED: Must be proficient in usage of MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and internet-based software.

- Provide leadership and oversight of all clinical services, case management and related wellness programs, ensuring efficient, effective, and compliant service delivery across service areas.
- Provide regular reports to senior leadership on program progress, challenges, and youth outcomes.
- Establish and drive program vision, goals, and performance metrics aligned with organizational strategy and funding requirements.
- Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of programs to meet the evolving needs of youth, utilizing data, outcomes, and best practices in trauma-informed care.
- Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness through ongoing data collection and analysis; provide regular reports to senior leadership on outcomes, challenges, and program performance.
- Ensure fidelity to evidence-based and trauma-informed models, including the Transition to Independence Process Model™ (TIP), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).
- Lead the training, development, supervision, and ongoing performance management of clinical services and programs, ensuring high-quality service delivery. This includes providing consistent, structured supervision; fostering professional growth and accountability; and ensuring timely, thorough performance evaluations across all supervised roles.
- Oversee assessment, intake, case planning, case review processes, and clinical interventions to ensure timely and appropriate service delivery; ensure integration of mental health, case management, and supportive services.
- Provide guidance on complex youth cases, including behavioral health and substance use needs, and ensure appropriate referrals, coordination of care, and continuity of services in both locations.
- Build and maintain relationships with external providers, including mental health agencies, hospitals, and community partners.
- Ensure compliance with all state licensing regulations, grant requirements, and organizational policies. Oversee quality assurance systems, including documentation, case records, and reporting in required data systems ETO), ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and alignment with funding requirements. Monitor program performance, outcomes, and grant deliverables, ensuring data integrity and achievement of contract objectives.
- Promote integration and consistent application of the CHI Program Model, including facilitating trainings and supporting team members in applying youth-centered, trauma-informed practices.
- Oversee coordination with internal departments to support safe, effective facility operations and address maintenance and safety concerns.
- Provide leadership presence for Safe Haven operations, including administrator-on-call responsibilities and response to critical incidents.
- Oversee grant compliance, reporting, and documentation, ensuring adherence to requirements, timelines, and data integrity.
- Manage departmental budgets and support program managers in budget oversight, including explaining variances.
- Execute people leadership functions, including developing leadership capacity within the management team and fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support agency operations.
