About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Interventional Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours (07:30 - 18:00) / 12 hours (07:00 - 19:00) Experience: 2 years required in ER/trauma/ICU/critical care/procedural nursing experience, moderate sedation experience highly preferred in pediatric/adult vascular interventional radiology and circulating for interventional procedures. License: Active state nursing license required. Certifications: BLS, ACLS required. Must-Have: Must provide a radiation badge, as it is not provided. Description: This position is for a Registered Nurse specializing in Vascular Interventional Radiology. The nurse will work either four 10-hour shifts or three 12-hour shifts. Weekend and call rotations are required. The role involves floating within the scope to meet facility needs. Experience in ER, trauma, ICU, and critical care is essential. Moderate sedation experience is preferred. The nurse should be familiar with charting systems. The daily patient age groups range from neonates to geriatrics, requiring a diverse skill set. The setting is within a teaching hospital known for its Magnet status and Level 1 trauma capabilities. The nurse will be working in a high-volume environment with various interdisciplinary support services available. All candidates must be aware of hurricane season and the possibility of being assigned to emergency response teams during this period. Modules are required prior to starting the role, and all compliance tasks must be completed on time.
