Warehouse Sorter / Receiver - 2nd Shift Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Warehouse Sorter / Receiver to join our warehouse team on 2nd Shift . This role is responsible for receiving inbound shipments, verifying products against packing slips, sorting materials, and ensuring inventory is accurately processed and organized. The ideal candidate has a strong attention to detail, works well in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in maintaining accuracy and efficiency.

Shift: 4:00 PM - 12:30 AM

Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and unload inbound shipments from trucks and carriers.
• Verify incoming products against packing slips, purchase orders, and shipping documentation.
• Inspect shipments for accuracy, damages, shortages, or discrepancies.
• Sort, label, and organize incoming materials in designated warehouse locations.
• Accurately count and record inventory received.
• Maintain a high level of attention to detail when checking products and documentation.
• Report inventory discrepancies, damaged goods, or receiving issues to management.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow all warehouse procedures and safety guidelines.
• Assist with order picking, packaging, and other warehouse duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, receiving, sorting, or inventory experience preferred.
• Ability to read and understand packing slips and shipping documents.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
• Basic computer skills are a plus.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for the duration of the shift.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 50 lbs.
• Frequent bending, reaching, stooping, and repetitive movements.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
