On-Call CaregiverComfort Keepers is looking for an experienced, dependable On-Call Caregiver to provide one-on-one care to seniors in their homes throughout our service area.This position is ideal for an experienced caregiver who is comfortable with a flexible schedule, traveling throughout our coverage area, and stepping in when care is needed. In addition to hourly pay for hours worked, you will receive a daily stipend for remaining available while on call, plus a bonus for any shift worked during your on-call period.Schedule & On-Call ExpectationsAvailable on-call days are Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and FridayYou must commit to 2 of these daysOn your scheduled days, you will be on call for a 24-hour periodYou will not work more than 12 hours within a 24-hour on-call periodMust be prepared to accept caregiver assignments throughout our coverage area during your on-call periodWhat You'll DoAs an On-Call Caregiver, you'll step in where you're needed to ensure our clients continue receiving dependable, compassionate care. Responsibilities may include:Providing one-on-one care to elderly clients in their homesAssisting with personal carePreparing mealsPerforming light housekeepingProviding medication remindersAssisting with transfers and mobilityProviding transportation and completing errands with clientsTraining and supporting caregivers as neededHelping ensure continuity of care when covering open or unexpected shiftsQualificationsWe're looking for someone who is experienced, flexible, and comfortable working independently. Candidates must have:6+ months of direct care experienceAbility to lift at least 25 poundsReliable transportation and the ability to drive throughout our coverage areaFlexibility to respond to assignments during scheduled on-call periodsA dependable and professional approach to caring for older adultsService AreaOur primary service areas include Grand Haven, Muskegon, North Muskegon, Spring Lake.
