Minimum 1-year current acute care Postpartum hospital experience BLS & NRP Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first. High risk post-partum experience Level 2 Nursery experience List typical procedures performed on unit(s): POC Glucose monitoring Breastfeeding support Post-partum hemorrhage management Assist with circumcision Hypertension assessment/management Best personality Fit: Positive attitude, hard worker, likes to stay busy Patient care experience is a priority Unit Guidelines/Policies: Please feel free to attach unit policies and guidelines. Any additional information that would entice a worker to select your unit for their assignment: This post-partum unit is a close-knit family of nurses and PCTs who work very well together as a team on a very busy post-partum unit. The patients are high risk, with the low-risk patients separated out on a free-standing LDRP that is across the street. Scheduling is flexible, and we are willing to work with the traveler.
