Job Title: Physician Assistant (Retail Clinic) – Primary/Urgent Care Location: Austin, TX 78745 (South Congress Ave area) Job Type: Contract-to-Hire (W2) Pay: $77.26/hour Setting: Onsite / patient-facing (safety-sensitive role) About the Role We’re hiring a Physician Assistant (PA) to support a fast-paced outpatient clinic environment, providing evidence-based care to a steady panel of patients. You’ll partner closely with a dedicated clinical care team to deliver high-quality primary and urgent care services. Schedule Training (week 1): Mon–Fri 8:30am–5:30pm Orientation: first ~4 weeks (schedule may vary) Ongoing: averages ~32.5 hours/week after orientation Weekends/Holidays: every other weekend with possible holiday rotations (as needed) What You’ll Do Perform patient assessments, diagnosis, and treatment plans Provide patient education, counseling, and disposition planning Document care accurately and timely in the EMR Work collaboratively with the clinic team to drive strong outcomes and patient experience Required Qualifications Active Physician Assistant license in Texas (in good standing; no current or prior disciplinary actions) Prior Primary Care or Urgent Care experience (required) BLS certification (AHA or ARC required) HS Diploma or GED (verifiable) Additional Details DEA registration may be required during onboarding (unless otherwise noted) This is a safety-sensitive position To Apply Apply with your resume and be ready to confirm: TX PA license status + good standing
