Automation Tester

Akkodis is seeking an Automation Tester for a Contract with a client in Columbus, OH. The ideal candidate will drive quality assurance by designing and executing automation frameworks for API and backend testing while ensuring seamless CI/CD integration.

Rate Range: $53/hour to $56/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.


Automation Tester Job Responsibilities include:

• Design, develop, and maintain automation test frameworks for API and backend systems to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Execute automated test cases, analyze results, and identify defects to improve application reliability and performance.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing and faster release cycles.
• Develop and maintain test scripts using programming/scripting languages for scalable and reusable automation.
• Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to validate system functionality and resolve issues efficiently.
• Perform backend data validation and API testing to ensure accuracy, security, and seamless system integration.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
• 6-8 years of experience in automation testing, including API and backend validation.
• Strong expertise in automation tools, scripting/programming, and CI/CD and DevOps integration.
• Proven experience in API testing, backend data validation, and building scalable test automation frameworks.

Pay Details: $53.00 to $56.00 per hour
