Front Counter & Parts Associate

Job Overview We are seeking a friendly, dependable Front Counter & Parts Associate to support our busy spring and summer season. This role is the first point of contact for customers and plays an important part in providing excellent customer service while assisting with parts sales, equipment check-in, and daily dealership operations. This position does not require prior parts or equipment experience—training is provided. The ideal candidate is comfortable using computers, enjoys helping customers, and thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Responsibilities Greet customers in person and over the phone in a friendly, professional manner Answer incoming phone calls and assist customers with general questions Check in equipment for service and assist with customer paperwork Look up lawn mower and outdoor power equipment parts for customers (training provided) Assist customers in identifying and purchasing the correct parts for their equipment Process parts orders, special orders, and customer transactions accurately Assist customers with retail and equipment-related purchases at the front counter Receive, stock, label, and organize incoming parts inventory Maintain accurate parts inventory and assist with inventory counts Support service technicians by locating and supplying needed partsAccurately enter customer, service, and sales information into the computer system Use office equipment such as printers, scanners, and credit card terminals Stock shelves and maintain organized parts displays and showroom areas Maintain a clean, professional front counter and showroom environment Assist with general front-of-house duties as needed during the busy season Qualifications Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude Comfortable using computers, typing, and learning new software systems Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented Strong communication skills English required Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a strong plus but not required Willingness to learn parts lookup systems and equipment-related information Previous retail, customer service, automotive, or parts experience is helpful but not required Must be able to successfully pass a background check and drug test Schedule & Pay Full-time position Tuesday–Saturday schedule Closed Sunday & Monday Occasional extended hours during peak season Pay based on experience Why Work With Us Family-owned business with a supportive team environment On-the-job training provided Opportunity for growth and advancement Employee discounts on parts and equipment Fast-paced, team-oriented workplace where every day is different Join our team and help keep our customers and their equipment running smoothly throughout the season! #J-18808-Ljbffr MIKE'S LAWN EQUIPMENT
