FLOOR TECHNICIAN (FULL TIME)

Job Summary Floor Technician – full‑time position responsible for floor maintenance, restoration, and operating industrial floor care equipment. Location & Schedule Location: St. Thomas West – 4220 Harding Road, Nashville, TN 37205. Schedule: Sunday through Thursday, 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM. Pay: $17.00 – $19.00 per hour. Essential Functions Maintain knowledge of principles of hard‑surface floor maintenance and use proper procedures on hard floor care including stripping and refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and spray buffing. Operate various types of industrial floor care equipment. Utilize automated equipment for cleaning large floor areas. Use proper procedures on carpet and upholstery including shampooing, damp surface, extractions, spot cleaning, vacuuming, etc. Perform maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types. Other duties as assigned by manager. Qualifications Preferred: One to three years of prior floor technician experience. Must have proven knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques. Must be able to follow safety procedures. Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling up to 50 lbs. Must be able to perform essential functions with or without a reasonable accommodation.
