Job Summary:

Performs, assists, and completes advanced Cardiac and Vascular Radiographic examinations, specializing in Cath Lab/EP procedures. Operates sophisticated imaging equipment in the cardiovascular lab to support diagnostic and therapeutic interventions. Ensures high-quality imaging and patient care through technical expertise and organizational efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Operate diagnostic and interventional imaging equipment to produce high-quality cardiac and vascular images.
  
  
• 
  Assist physicians during specialized procedures, including catheterizations and electrophysiology studies.
  
  
• 
  Position and immobilize patients accurately, following established protocols and safety procedures.
  
  
• 
  Provide patient instruction and support to ensure comfort and cooperation during examinations.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with medical staff to troubleshoot equipment issues and maintain optimal performance.
  
  
• 
  Mentor and train staff on technical procedures, contributing to team development and quality standards.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold ARRT certification in radiologic technology; valid state RT license.
  
  
• 
  Possess at least two years of recent experience in cardiac and vascular imaging, preferably in a Cath Lab/EP environment.
  
  
• 
  Current BLS certification; CPR certification from an approved provider.
  
  
• 
  Require proficiency in fluoroscopy (FLUORO) and specialized procedures.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate strong technical, critical thinking, and organizational skills.
  
  
• 
  Preferred Bachelors Degree in radiologic technology or a related field.
