Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education Teacher certification (or ability to obtain)

• Familiarity with current instructional strategies and behavioral interventions
• Flexibility and enthusiasm for working in a diverse school setting

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver individualized instruction tailored to student needs
• Develop, review, and update IEPs in collaboration with staff and families
• Support students’ academic and social-emotional goals in self-contained and/or resource environments
• Coordinate with general education teachers, therapists, and support staff to facilitate student success
• Track and document student progress, providing reports as needed
• Engage positively with families and participate in meetings and trainings as required
