Position Summary The Retail Lead Associate coordinates the daily functions of the retail store assigned to them by the Retail Manager or Supervisor, ensuring profitability and adherence to company policies. Compensation Hourly pay range: $20.50 per hour. Actual pay may vary based on experience, location, and performance. Handle guest problems and complaints professionally, ensuring an excellent resort experience. Serve as key holder, opening and closing the store as scheduled. Oversee daily cash register operations and ensure accurate end‑of‑day procedures and revenue accounting. Maintain store cleanliness, staff behavior, and effective merchandise displays. Present merchandise in a polite, appealing manner to support guest satisfaction. Attend product knowledge clinics during normal hours and after closing as needed. Communicate with Warehouse Supervisor and Buyer to keep the store adequately stocked. Enforce department policies on shrinkage control. Operate the point‑of‑sale system efficiently, with excellent cash and credit card handling skills. Act as a team player, exhibiting cooperation and supporting coworkers. Perform other duties as needed. Act as the Manager on Duty (MOD) when the Retail Manager or Supervisor is absent. Assist in creating the store schedule and implement retail incentive programs. Promote and enforce policies and procedures from the Employee Handbook and Retail Rental training. Qualifications Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and basic computer functionality. Valid Colorado Driver’s License and clean motor vehicle record preferred. Availability to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and respond to emergency schedule changes. Proficiency in spoken and written English. Strong verbal and written communication skills with guests, supervisors, and colleagues. Friendly, outgoing personality with a positive attitude and willingness to help guests. Retail merchandising experience desired (not required). Guest service experience desirable (not required). Education Requirements High School Diploma or GED (minimum). Physical Requirements Regularly required to walk, talk, see, hear, and operate a computer and other office machinery.
