About the Position

Job Title: CT Technologist Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: CT Tech Duration: 18 weeks Shift: Day 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years required License: Must have a valid state license Certifications: BLS, ARRT, ARRT Advanced, CA CRT Must-Have: Must be open to all shift times. Must be able to work independently and efficiently. Community hospital experience required. Must be open to working 3 of the 5 major holidays. May be asked to pick up voluntary shifts outside of contracted times including nights and weekends. First-timers accepted. Description: This position involves high-volume scanning in a fast-paced environment. Expect to perform 30-40+ scans per 12-hour shift. Self-scheduling will be based on seniority. You may be asked to do your own transport based on staffing. Experience with GE and Toshiba equipment is preferred. You will be expected to assist in transport support as needed. This facility functions as a primary stroke receiving center. The department is very busy, primarily serving emergency department patients. Candidates should be prepared for a demanding work atmosphere. The successful candidate should have competencies in various imaging techniques, including but not limited to abdomen, chest, cervical, and vascular imaging. You will be required to follow safety protocols and adhere to contrast media preparation and administration practices.
