At Boys & Girls Clubs of Whatcom County , our work is about giving young people safe, supportive places to learn, grow, and belong. With four Clubhouses and four licensed care center campuses, we are the largest provider of youth programming in Whatcom County-and we're growing.

We're looking for a Billing & Compliance Specialist who loves making sure the details are right, the systems work well, and the organization has what it needs to serve kids well.

Reporting to the Vice President of Business Operations, you'll take ownership of the billing and accounts receivable cycle for our Licensed Care and Club programs while supporting critical compliance, reporting, and recordkeeping functions. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a mix of accounting, problem-solving, organization, and mission-driven work.

In this role, you will:

• Own billing and accounts receivable processes for Licensed Care and Club programs.
• Prepare recurring financial and program reports from organizational systems.
• Maintain accurate records related to child nutrition programs, enrollment requirements, and membership scholarships.
• Support compliance activities, audits, and required documentation.
• Partner with staff and families to resolve billing and account questions.
• Handle confidential information with professionalism and sound judgment.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, accuracy, and efficiency.
