Endoscopy RN

The position involves providing nursing care in an endoscopy setting. Responsibilities include assisting with various endoscopic procedures such as colonoscopy, EGD, ERCP, and bronchoscopy. Candidates must have intra-procedural level and gastroenterology experience. Proficient skills required include biopsy techniques, dilatation, therapeutic injections, foreign body retrieval, and various ERCP procedures. RNs may also float to Pre-Op if case volume is low in the endoscopy unit. Supervisory personnel will oversee care of adult patients with mid to high acuity. The work environment will require effective troubleshooting of equipment and supplies. Candidates should be prepared to demonstrate a range of critical actions related to endoscopy procedures. This role demands a strong ability to work collaboratively with the healthcare team. All responsibilities must be carried out with a commitment to high-quality patient care.
